The Blue Jean Co is one of the the original " players" of the Norwich fashion scene. We really do stock one of the largest selections of Denim in the whole of the eastern counties,complimented by a great range of tops, jackets and accessories. Since 1986 we have endeavoured to bring to Norwich innovative but to easy-going collections, always a couple of years before the national stores catch-on.
Obviously, jeans form a major part of what we are about, but we also carry large ranges of urban,street, boardsports and club-wear.
Our staff are massively experienced with the jeans that we sell , having worked for us over a number of years, so they always know what's in stock, aswell as which styles and sizes are going to suit you best.
We do special orders for individual customers,alterations offer a 10% STUDENT DISCOUNT. I think you might find our prices very favourable compared to the national stores and remember we offer a price promise on any of our clothes if found cheaper in Norwich .
History.
Set up in Pottergate in 1986, we soon found our shop to be too small and opened on Lowergoat Lane (opposite the old Andys Records!). After 5 years we expanded to our current store also on Lowergoat Lane.
By this time , the dance music scene really was kicking off and throughout the early '90s we sold mix tapes and great clubbing gear. In the late '90s we were way ahead of your "Freespirits" and "Just Add Waters" with every immaginable Boardsports brand, which now are on our 1st floor.
As times moved on we were the first with your Firetrap/Sonneti/Urban Stone types of collections which still provide us with a major part of our fahion ranges.
Oh yeah, and throughout these years we have sold thousands of those blue jean things!
