The Book Hive
The Book Hive on London Street
Situated at 53 London Street, the sight of the old florist, The Book Hive covers two floors of one of Norwich’s best known buildings. With its large curved glass frontage, looking down over the meeting point of four streets, it is a landmark of The Lanes.

Inside, the shop has been transformed into a large open plan space, designed and decorated to reflect the beauty of the building as well as the artistic character of the city. For the adults, there is room to sit and read, drink coffee or tea and browse the cookery, non-fiction or art and design books. Off this main space is the kid’s room, complete with parrots, jungles and robots, as well as an extensive collection of pre-school, children's and teenage books. Upstairs, more space to sit and enjoy the view of busy London Street outside, whilst settling into our small but interesting collection of fiction and wide-ranging poetry collection, still surrounded by the stylish design of the shop.
