Come and join us for coffee, tea, cupcakes, fine wines, real ales, cocktails or choose from our extensive selection of spirits. We have free Wi-Fi, board games, papers, magazines and a pub cat called Maraud.



We also have a lovely little secret garden where you can smoke your cigar!

The Birdcage hosts an array of events in our downstairs ball-room, ranging from a weekly Cabaret (piano players, stand-up, poetry, violinists, plate spinners... anything goes!)  to DJS at the weekend, mixing everything from Northern Soul, Jazz, Swing to Indie, Electronica, 80s, 90s.
